Hi Kevin, yes the "keeping your dream alive and your energy going" is by far the hardest part about it. We get sidetracked again and again in our lives. For most people, me included, it's really hard to choose something to me more interesting or less. Plus the anxiety if it is the right choice to make or not. Often you need to work to several years of hardship with next to no reward, just hoping it might work out some day

I agree with you that these super successful people have a vision of what they want to do plus have an internal drive to keep going no matter the obstacles. I once learned that you can be part of your own plan, or be part of someone elses. The vast majority of people are part of other peoples plans (i.e. working in a company or for organisations). It does take guts (and risk) to be part of your own plan.
