Learn why some people achieve what every they want. Learn why some people have success with their projects. There is a simple and intuitive Rule to it: 248! The code to the secret Door.

No, this is not a conspiracy or crazy talk :)

248 is a basic business principle that will also be useful to you in any other circumstance - especially your artistic endeavors.

And keep in mind: The most important thing is that you achieve your goal - not that you get rich with it or become insanely powerful.

This is about freedom and reaching your goals.

Thank you, Bruce. Yes i find that the most helpful advice that i learn myself ever. People can sense if you want to trick them. So it's always best to be honest and act in their best interest. It is a lot more fun and easier to work with people who enjoy and trust you, :)

Awesome, Kevin, yes i would say he is an enabler for you. I think if you would go back, he would be delighted to talk more to you about his job and the prints and you could learn a lot along the way. Maybe they would even sponsor an exhibition of your works. :)

Hi Olivio, thanks for your take on this. I suppose the trick is putting yourself in the right place at the right time to meet the enablers. It is probably a pro-active thing and goes hand in hand with the motivation to create your art in the first place. I had an occasion today when I took some photos (4) to be printed for a competition. I had created PNG and TIFF versions of the images. The printing chap was so keen to help and learn that he printed both the PNG and TIFF versions. We engaged in deep discussion about the differences as evidenced by the print outs. In the end it was the TIFF versions that were better and he let me have the PNG versions for free! He was delighted to have experiemtned and learnt something himself. I got quite a buzz too!

"You need to think about the other people first" - Excellent advice! which can be applied on so many different levels.
