Overcome FEAR, Start doing Art - Creative Chat // My Life

Hi Kevin, good point. Yes the ego plays a huge part in that. I found for myself that i trick my ego in the way that i can imagine myself still as successful as long as i haven't actually tested it. Further pushing away to day i actually do it. Or to imagine she would probably be into me, because getting rejected would be a much bigger risk than just dreaming about who she would say yes if i would ask her out. But in the end it is always better to see what could have happened and celebrate the actual victories. The losses are forgotten soon anyways ;)

Thank you Olivio, as always a thought provoking video. I know exactly what you mean, I have probably 40 movies in my Netflix watchlist and haven't watched any of them! You are right about being in the right mood for certain movies or activities. I suppose one of my fears is that of judgement of others even down to close relatives who will dismiss the work as 'rubbish'. You are right in that probably the more they get used to it, the less critical they will become, even if they bother to comment. It's probably and ego driven fear and wanting to be liked or prove you can do something 'meaningful'. You didn't mention the ego side of things - maybe for another video! I do like abstract stuff as it is easier to create as I am not an artist with brush or pencil. I also like photo manipulation and with your techniques have moved on from just 'representing reality' with the photo but rather an interpretation. As you say (in the words of a major brand) just do it!
