Affinity Designer - The BIG Book Review. Should you buy it?

Cool, thank you Greg. I think the "book on Table" thing helped a lot. Do you work with a stylus on iPad? Because i would think that working with fingers to move these little handles to bend the curves would seem pretty tedious.

Thank you very much, Olivio. These projects look very interesting and I would love to learn how to do them. I’m not certain that I could reproduce them on the iPad but I have the feeling I could accomplish a lot (even if the results were not identical). I don’t think I could find such a book for the iPad but I will look around. Let me know if you find something. Btw, this video was a lot smoother than the previous one. I think you did a good job reviewing the book - you made me want to buy it ;-)

You are welcome, Kevin. I'm happy i could inspire you. Yes, it's kind of strange they didn't put more cross-program content in there. Then again, they probably didn't want to confuse users with content if they only have one of the two programs. Good thing on my channel i can do this with no limit :)

Thank you for this review Olivio. I am lucky enough to have this book too and have worked through the beginning sections up until the skyscraper example. Your views on the latter sections/chapters are very encouraging. I note though that there is no 'cross-over' discussion between AP and AD. I hope that you'll be able to show us some of the ways this can be done and the best App to use as a starting point for the various projects.
