The Iris of the eye has multiple colors, often 3 or more that mix beautifully and make the eye so interesting and alive. So, when changing the color, we have to take that into account and try to recreate it in a natural way in the new color we want to adjust it to. For that we create two separate Adjustment layers and recolor the eye for a natural look.

Thank you Kevin. I was surprised to see the HSL/HUE edit used by even big, professional youtubers. And it might give good results in some cases, but it's much to easy to get wrong and it alters colors in somewhat unforeseeable ways. That said, i might need to do a second video on this, because if someone has brown or grey eyes, the color balance alone isn't enough. So i need to go into more detail in these cases. :)
