Hi Olivio, I am going to experiment a little more but I am starting to suspect that when I created a new document, my settings of Color Format RGB/8 and my Color Profile not being default, produced the unusual results.

2018-09-25 17:01:26 +0000 UTCHi Bob, that's strange. Are you sure, you didn't by accident type in numbers while not having the rotation field selected. So you might have changed another setting or blend more by chance?

2018-09-25 16:29:24 +0000 UTCThis was an excellent exercise and I completed it but mysteriously to me, the "redness" of the larger flower was much more intense than the original when inserted into my image. I tried it several times but always with the same results.
