Affinity Photo - Light Mood Fix - Tutorial

Today I'm going to show you how to fix the light mood of a photo - quick and easy. Set it to any mood you like and give your photos a new life.

This is especially effective with pictures that have been shot neutral for professional reasons, as well as to correct photos where you simply didn't catch the right day of time or mood of sunlight.

Hi Kevin, yes, it's a nice little trick to steal the light mood from another picture. Especially because professionally graded pictures often have great colors that work on most monitors. :)

Oh yes, quick and dirty! This will save loads of time over trying to make the adjustments with adjustment layers (which is my default workflow).

Hi Greg, try a very extreme color, like a bright pink and play with these settings to see if you can spot the difference. sometimes the effect is very subtle and hard to spot. also make sure you use the settings on the right layer and that the layer is set active. ;)

Now I know a way to use that Average Blur - very cool. One thing, when you moved that line down and said to watch the shadow areas, I could see no change. When I tried the same on my photos, I still could see no change - no mater what I did with the line. Are my bad eyes the culprit, or am I missing something?
