New Members + Creating a Community

Hello my Friends!
Please welcome our newest Patrons: Brian, Greg, Norm and John. Brian also is the first 5$ supporter, which really means a lot to me and to build this community into something great.
As a guide to the new members and a reminder for all of you lovely people, I want to point out some key features:
- use the "Community Page" to post questions, feedback and your works. This gives all of us a chance to connect and I'm happy to help and give feedback on what you create.
- use your Patron Power to suggest topics to me, that you want to see as videos in the future. That feedback helps me a lot in creating things that are important to you.
- message me and chat with me, if there is anything you want to ask or talk about, be it for video on the past, upcoming things or stuff you are working on right now.
Creating a Community:
I want to put more work into making this a great community. I know that it's up to me to be more active and set a good example by posting more and starting conversations. But I also want to listen. So, the first question I have is: What could make this community better?
Here are some ideas:
- Art Contest with one topic per week to work on + feedback
- Creating a vote on upcoming tutorial topics
- Community Discussions, like "Who is your favorite photographer and why?"
- Community Content - involving you in my videos by using photos you created instead of online stock photos.
- Community Answers - share your favorite photo editing processes and I make them into Tutorials, naming you as the idea giver.
Those are just some of the ideas. Feel free to post your own ideas or alter these into something you like more :)

Thank you for the link. That looks really interesting. I was thinking about maybe creating videos that span over multiple clips and i also need to work on content that sets me appart from other channels. So creating more complex works could be an interesting way to do that.

2018-05-06 23:10:00 +0000 UTCThere is a person that make amazing surreal photo manipulations on YouTube. But he uses photoshop. I would love to see more photo manipulations being done on Affinity Photo. If you want me to tell you his user name let me know. But he doesn’t explain his process . But I can sort of follow what he is doing. But I love to watch your videos because you explain very well.
