Hello, i saw you bouncing around yesterday on your huge blue balls! What the hell was that about huh!??!?!! 👋
Today’s diary is about the British Girl 😅
First i want you to take a look at the above pictures... There are FOUR scenarios
VN_"5427, 5447, 5461, 5473, 5476" = THIS IS THE OLD GRADUATION SCENE - When you first see her
VN_"7775, 7798, 7804, 7809, 7821" This is when she first arrives in the graveyard after ruby leaves
VN_"7832, 7839, 7849, 7856, 7868, 7874 " This is AFTER she falls in the water. She is wet...
VN_"8368, 8388, 8399" and the secret kiss webm file i have attached. = This is the sunset sequence
If you’ve noticed that she sometimes looks a little different from scene to scene, maybe her skin is shinier in one render, or her hair catches the light in a new way, don’t panic! She hasn’t had cosmetic surgery, and I haven’t replaced her with a pod person. The real culprit is lighting.
In 3D rendering, characters don’t live in a vacuum. How they appear depends on how all those tasty materials... specular, glossiness, bump maps, diffuse maps, subsurface scattering... interact with the light in the scene. Move a lamp, change the HDRI background, or adjust a rim light, and suddenly her freckles might pop or her cheekbones might look extra dramatic, or her skin might look very matte.
Think of it like real photography: the same person can look wildly different under a warm sunset versus a cool fluorescent bulb.
Thanks for following along on this dev journey 🕯️
I need a few more days before i release the update, it is more animation heavy than i intended.
