April 2023 Preview: Swamp Goblins Frog Riders!

Good evening guys!
We have two good news to bring you today. The first one is that the weekend is -finally- around the corner, and the second one is this amazing new April 2023 Preview in Highlands Miniatures: the Swamp Goblins Frog Riders and the Swamp Goblins Frog Riders with sticks!
This new set of miniatures has been truly a challenge as we really wanted to capture the movement and dynamism of these mounted Swamp Goblins but also, adding them meaning and telling a story to bring them to life. We are very proud of the result!
But before taking a look at the miniatures, it is time to know the set of miniatures coming next monht. The April 2023 Release will be composed of:
- Three (3) Swamp Trolls
- Seven (7) Swamp Frogs
- Seven (7) Swamp Goblins Frog Riders
- Five (5) Swamp Goblins Frog Riders with sticks
- One (1) Swamp Goblin Hero
- Swamp Goblins Modular Movement Tray
"...after raiding an isolated Sons of Ymir camp located near the Stinky Swamp, these Swamp Goblins have taken as their precious loot some common objects, such as humble frying pans and even a lowly chamber pot, which their simple minds mistook for great armor and weapons. Yet, with no small measure of pride, they carried these "treasures" with them as hard-won battle trophies..."
"...but there are others between the Swamp Goblins who ride the Swamp Frogs as a proof of their status within the Tribe. These goblin riders proudly wield long wooden sticks -to proper reach their short enemies, keeping the distance between their bodies and the sharp axes of the dwarfs- and brandish pieces of rusty iron fashioned into crude armor..."
The Swamp Goblins Frog Riders and Swamp Goblins Frog Riders with sticks come separated from the Swamp Frogs.

2023-03-21 08:23:58 +0000 UTCThe kickstarter is just to gather potential feedback and visibility into the goblins, I believe it was stated that it was just a "design concept" instead of having their releases follow that particular monster theme.
