July 2022 Release First Preview: Dwarfs, Sons of Ymir!

Good evening guys! ⚔️⚔️

The day has finally come, and after many many days of hard work and a lot of months planning this upcoming army, today we can start talking for real about the next fantasy army that will come to Highlands Miniatures next July 2022: Dwarfs, Sons of Ymir! 🎊

But first of all, what are we going to see for the first release of this amazing army? Well.. let's see! The upcoming July 2022 Release will be composed of:

• 7x Dwarfs Warriors Core Miniatures with modular weapons and shields
• 5x Dwarfs Warriors Core Miniatures with two-handed axes and monopose
• 3x Dwarfs Warriors Command Group
• 5x Dwarfs Marksmen Core Miniatures: Dwarfs with hand crafted gunpowder guns
• 1x Dwarf Marksmen Captain: Dwarf captain with hand crafted gunpowder guns

In this preview images you can see the first seven (7) dwarf warriors miniatures with modular weapons and shields. They will come with a couple of axes and hammers as modular weapons and the shields you can see in the images. 

Tomorrow we will showcase the entire Dwarf Warrior Unit with one-handed weapon and shields and the three (3) Dwarfs Warriors Command Group. We will also start to talk about the background and lore of this fantasy army. 

👉🏻 About the Dwarfs

We have received many amazing suggestions and ideas along these months for this upcoming fantasy army.  There will be some key elements along the entire army to make the units different between each other: the amount of details and engraving in the armours and weapons, the designs of the helmets, the kind of armour they use (chainmail vs plate armour vs nothing), or the shape of the beards. You can see more about the suggestions we have received in the comment section of our Dwarf Lord Kickstarter. 

As we have already said, our fantasy dwarf army will be heavily influenced by the norse aesthetic and mythology, as you can probably notice from these first dwarf warriors, so you can expect more about that line in the upcoming miniatures.

By the way, as we are starting a new army we have decided to change a bit the renders, or better say, the way we showcase the miniatures.
