故事背景是：
自從人類大戰戰勝塞壬之後，迎來了一個超和平時代，世界已經不需要碧藍航線的維護，由於他們的高費維護和養護費，政府容許她們到社會創業生活把國家經濟復活．不過，隨著時間過去，人類發現她們的能力比自己更強，開始害怕她們主宰世界，變成新世界的王者．各界政府大家商討完後，制定了『艦隊回收計劃』，希望把這個威脅移除。
New Series - ( I have no idea )
Following the defeat of the Sirens in the Great War, humanity entered a period of unparalleled peace. With Azur Lane no longer necessary for defense, the government faced mounting costs associated with their maintenance and upkeep. To address this, they granted the shipgirls permission to integrate into human society and establish businesses aimed at revitalizing the post-war economy.
However, as time progressed, humans began to realize that the shipgirls possessed capabilities far exceeding their own. Fears grew that the shipgirls might rise to dominate the world, establishing a new hierarchy with themselves at the helm. In response, international governments convened to discuss the threat posed by the shipgirls. Ultimately, they devised the "Fleet Recycling Plan," a strategic initiative aimed at mitigating this perceived risk and reasserting human dominance.
