The first play was in the Rose Bowl when Vince Young led my alma mater, The University of Texas, to victory over USC, thereby winning the National Championship. They came from behind to do it, and it was tremendously exciting to watch.

In our timeline, they have been dominant for the past 15 years and have won not only the most national championships but also have had multiple periods of dominance. They’re not Yankees level of dominance over time but yeah. They have been pretty consistently good over the years. Their most recent legendary coach retired and this upcoming season is their first without him since the Bush presidency.

2024-08-14 16:40:42 +0000 UTCI watched the Appalachian State (Boone, North Carolina) vs Michigan game. It’s still considered the biggest upset in college football. If there are extended highlights of that game to watch, it would be epic. It was a classic Goliath’s bigger stronger brother vs David’s teeny little cousin match up and it was played at The Big House, the largest stadium in the Western Hemisphere. Since that game in 2007, App State has had a huge infusion of cash and has made giant strides in their program.
