Ahh I dunno! I think this is probably something Amy just tries to get them into a habit of doing in general. Partly because they really need to get better at escaping, and partly because Amy just likes tying them up ;)

This is incredible. Do we think it's set after the Failed Quests stories, with Amy trying to teach them so it doesn't happen again? Or did it take place before and have no effect on the team once again getting bound and gagged beyond belief?

Well, there might be a next part! Because the logic, when you're trying to train someone to get better at escaping and they fail to escape even the simplest bonds, is to tie them up tighter, right? :)

Yeah I think I was thinking something along those lines. Also like... in a medieval world, you'd probably have to find some way to spend the dark hours. :) The fact that it's similar to the witches house is just coincidence yeah. I think it's just the things I do as shorthand for "dingy room" kind of. I wanted this to feel like a crummy little room that Jorcy and her friends have rented at some inn - and the witches house to feel like she'd fallen on hard times. Hence breaking plaster and crummy curtains etc.. The rolls of rope and tape just seem to litter my pictures in general for obvious reasons :D

Mmm yeah I've been experimenting with that sort of over exposed look where the stuff in the light almost disappears and the stuff in the shadows has more depth. The night one certainly is more dynamic and dramatic, but I'm not 100% convinced dramatic lighting is right for this scene ;)

Haha yeah it really changes a lot. Usually I have most of the idea for the color in my head before I start. But like in the office lady one I did so many different versions. But only finished one of them, because coloring takes so long that doing several finished ones is just crazy :D

Both versions are good but I'm also on the night train. Narrative wise, it makes a more logical sense that Amy would have Jorcy and Tia practice their escape skills at night. During the day, there's quests and money to be made. By the way, is it coincidence that the room looks similar to the prison witch's place? I see the the window shade, the unplastered wall, the rolls of rope and tape... Or maybe the whole city is like this. XD

I like the Night version a lot better and I think that should be the OG version. It's way more interesting to me visually. I think the reason is because the shading adds a lot of depth to the room, as the lighting in the Day version kind of washes out the background and causes the colors run pretty close together to the point where it almost seems like it hasn't been colored yet.

I think this clearly need a sequel O:-) :-D the second one is very interesting.. it has nice atmosphere :-)

It's really interesting to see those two versions side by side. I find it fascinating how lightning can make all the difference in the world in regards to atmosphere. The brighter one looks so much more open and slice of life-esque, whereas the darker one is more intimate, almost a bit claustrophobic. I personally really like both and would definitely not mind you posting alternate versions like this going forward, should you happen to have them. By the way, I really love how Amy looks here, a nice mix between evil and gleeful.

Gorgeous! I think I prefer the night one's colours, plus kinda adds to the narrative of how long they been struggleing! Also panty hoods! Very good!

The night one I like if just because it seems more like they've been there all day. But I prefer the lighting more in the normal. A tough choice
