Boudica is hard to unthink from a warrior queen :) I guess maybe because I've been very into mythology and stuff, all those mythological names from wherever are hard for me to disconnect from their origins... Artemis seems quite goth because of the moon connection. Of course, now you've got me thinking about greek names and godesses there's a bunch to choose from. Melinoe - godess of ghosts and nightmares, Ananke - fate and necessity and order... There's so many! :D

I had a female friend named Dora and she was a goth through and through. Dark clothes, heavy makeup, loved black and white photography, and collected animal skulls. She always hated the name because there was a saying in the US from the 1920's of a "Dumb Dora" which meant a foolish woman. But I associate the name now with that short haired goth look. I also think it's just a really unique name that you never hear anymore.

So I've been trying to find some names for you along that line, but unfortunately looking for OG Goth stuff just nets you a bunch of stuff about people who wear black all the time :P Also some of those names like Boudica (a Pict not a Goth tho) don't really work for modern looking characters. That being said she's got like a Byzantine/Greek look going on to me so I think modern-ish sounding classical names like Justina (a Byzantine Empress) or something like Artemis or Athena (Goddesses of the wilderness & the hunt and wisdom & warfare respectively) I think work really well.

You always put so much thought into your names, it's great! Dora to me seems a bit... like someone more wholesome though. I guess it's the round vowels... I really like Isadora though! Yeah the gag alts were fun! After I'd made the original I started thinking maybe Jo should be fitted more "gear"-y. I doubt I'm gonna do alt all that often, but it's fun every now and again! :) Cheers for looking out :D

I'm gonna give a vote for Dora. Full name Isadora, Greek for 'Gift from the goddess Isis' Also MAN, I was not expecting this level of gag alts to be included. Wonderful! Just make sure you're not overworking yourself Elijah. As long as you're enjoying the work then all's good.

Love that hood variant~ The way you draw hoods is always so gosh darn good. I love this Goth domme as well - I seem to have a big weak spot for such characters! (Wish I was better with names though!)
