Chapter 105: Love is a Green Light

Shi Chen gently caressed the flushed under-eye area of Nie Jia with his fingertips and couldn't help but lower his head to give him a light kiss.

"The boss isn't feeling well; someone tampered with his drink. Mr. Nie is accompanying him." Ye Ying indifferently explained, "With so many guests in the mansion today, does the young lady want to expose this in the banquet hall? You better come clean now to save us from investigating later."

"What, by the way you're talking, it sounds like I arranged this for Shi Chen?" Shi Yiyuan glared at Ye Ying.

"Isn't it?" Ten Li retorted.

Ye Ying said, "This is the main residence of the Shi family. Even a small celebrity like Shen Siyu can't enter without an invitation. Isn't that right, Miss?"

"Is Shi Chen worth my effort?" Shi Yiyuan raised an eyebrow and sneered.

"What's going on?" A rough voice came from behind, and everyone turned to see Lang Yazi stepping up the stairs in two or three strides.

"Mr. Lang, this is not a place you should come to." The butler, fearing that an ugly situation would unfold with the arrival of the guest, tried to intercept him but was seized by the wrist by the woman beside Lang Yazi and dragged aside.

"It's just a family matter. Mr. Lang, why are you here?" Shi Yiyuan resumed a smiling face.

"Take care," Lang Yaliang stood by the railing, slightly bowing as he watched the two leave.
