I love this guy. Always great insight.

Clearly, you've never worked with John Deere! 😄

The NC700 was Honda's attempt to rethrow their PC800 dice for the post-millennial market. It met with similar uptake, because once again, too bland a motor coupled w/ styling that most people just didn't warm to. But if you're a daily commuter, a hard bike to beat. Sadly, my PC800 died in the fire last year, along with a real unicorn, an '84 1200 Gold Wing roadster [single year only model, Honda only knows that they built a little over 5200? G'wings that year, most of them Interstates or Aspencades, so who knows how few of the Roadsters (nakeds) left the factory in total? That was the loss that really hurt; I'd looked for one for years, had an '86 Interstate parts bike as a donor for some of the pieces [upgraded final drive and matching rear wheel, etc.] that I wanted to put on when I found my spherical tuit... C'est la vie! I could start scouring again, but until I have a place of my own to work on it I would be foolish to bother...

I sold guitars for over a decade. This is spot on.

not like bragging about it. knew a guy, doctor, whom had a hk ar and elcan on it. like 5ish 6thousand€... one gun... racegun 40cal. he had the cash and just didn't care cause... his hobby. --- I rather like enduros. cruisers look cool but stop n go rush hour daily way to work traveling... all better with other types. --- 50/50 the great budget and the value guy. depends.

I believe it was a Tisas.

I'm a value guy. I'll find something that meets my needs then search for a good deal on it. Accidental example: my avatar shows me on a Honda NC700x, a low-drama bike that met my needs. I found a previous-year leftover and saved about $2k on it. ~60mpg, zero problems commuting 100 miles per day.

There is zero value in a Harley, no matter the model! Lol. FYI: I own two Softails and a Roadglide….Kawasaki Vulcan is value! Lol

Definitely the value-type customer. Trijicon is my go to for the good stuff (Evo Tech close second), but if a Swamp Fox or a Bussnel will do the same thing I can accept it as a stand in. Also, sorry he decided to buy a Harley. Probably the most anti right-to-repair company I have ever worked with.

Sphynx

Ian, what brand of 1911 did Mike have there with the Gideon optic on it?

Kerwin Kerr

I wish you would have shown more new product info.
