Have you heard of Mexico's fx-05 service rifle? The Mexican army not only designed their own rifle but also built their own small arms manufacturing plant where they also developed their own machine gun, SMG, PDW, pistol, and are working on developing other armament which has been extremely cost effective according to reports. Why haven't other countries been able to achieve this kind of model successfully vs the complicated procurement process we all know and "love" ?
