'Murican 2-Gun: M1918A3 BAR and M1911A1 (Ad-free)

Today I'm taking a brand new Ohio Ordnance M1918A3 semiauto BAR to the 2-gun match, along with a Tisas M1911A1 clone. The BAR is the WW2 configuration, but I followed the footsteps of many a US GI and took off the bipod (and it didn't come with a carry handle). That reduces the weight a bit from the very beefy 19 pounds the WW2 BAR tipped the scales at. Even so, it's still like running a shoulder rifle with a second rifle strapped to it...

It was a fun match, even if I did place very near the bottom of the scores!

Wrong handed problems causing a problem with the pistol?

nice outfit. quote jefe "you want to compete with a maaans gun... not with a little sissy gun (like a 223)!"

God bless John Moses Browning. Thanks Gun Jesus.

You're a better man than me. Shooting that heavy a weapon from the shoulder with any accuracy at all, bravo! I have to wonder how the XM7 is received by the troops, as it weighs 14 (?) lbs. being much shorter helps as does the whole in-line setup. I know you have shot it with the training ammo and approved. It is finally in the hands of regular troops, have you heard anything about their reaction?

Great effort with great guns. Also liked your uniform & accessories. If I chose not to shoot an original M1911A1, I think I would have selected a Remington or Ruger clone instead.

I know it's not normal...but... a Tisas malf investigation video?
