Steyr SSG-69

Scheduled for March 2.

Steyr SSG-69

Comments

While I am a fan of Austrian guns I have some issues with rear locking lugs! πŸ€ πŸ‘

Paul Beck

Having the opportunity to shoot a Steyr several years ago, it is a good shooting rifle. I was not aware the barrel was threaded so deeply into the receiver. That does, indeed, help explain the inherent accuracy of the design.

EyeBall

Especially with a set trigger.

The Bone Clock

I owned a couple of the 16" heavy barreled version in the mid-80s. They were reliably sub-MOA out to 300 yards with good ammo. Would love to see a review of the SSG-08 if you ever get the opportunity.

The Bone Clock

Bloke recently put a vid up about bolt throw and locking lugs using his normal ensemble cast.

chris

I bet if you used a rear bag that group would shrink substantially.

Matt C

Steyr equals quality.

Douglas Biegel

good luck.

Guido Schriewer

ah! the cool thing before the accuracy international. not the od one though. shot a few steyr 222s. very very smooooth bolts. great quality. not to trashtalk your skills but because range... no chance henry will get hit hands on this or...? that would be one canidate to reach out a bit more than 100.

Guido Schriewer

Excellent! Weirdly I'm bidding on a civilian SSG-69 on eGun which finishes this eve..... Currently (1500CET) at €1005.... we'll see

Mick Gillen

As Ian was pulling the trigger that was my first thought! πŸ˜„

Klas Andersson

Very well done video. I enjoyed your showing the parts and then going to the range, all in same show. Perhaps a few words about the bipod would have been useful.

Robert Beattie

It would be fun to see what Henry could do with that. Thanks Ian
