2/ a NEW confined story, 4 new characters, but similar to Cwg. Similar character and structure of story, but different characters (so I could also change their relationships to allow some more spicy stuff) Not exactly same personalities I could change or remix some characteristics.
I could even take the same house and make some light changes.
I could take some plot elements from CwG.
The idea of the 2 would be to make a game with very close vibe of CwG but still as a new game.
So I would be free to make similar stories and change things without changing the originals.

Yeah, don't see how redoing CWG could improve it so I'm voting for a new game/story along the lines of CWG

If anything another story set in the world, maybe about the King, possibly being redeemed, perhaps finding pity with the Goddess in another world or exiled in another fictional country, or merely just being tasked with being given a chance to do so in the world? Regaining his sense of self-worth (doing good deeds to regain his vigor/character development or the like where some felt his recovery in DH was too fast, here is the more slow burn). Have it be a way for him to be a character people root for, have the MC go through a bit of effort to regain his libido in some way (cue minigames/repeatable events/romancing women, maybe even the Queen, who truly did still love him?) would be cool. Then you can take the systems you want to do in DH (and this suggested reboot) and put them in another project instead.

Like, I love the CWG crew but Jasmina was a stand out and so different than those four. "What new stuff would you come up with" is a more exciting prospect than rehashing old stories. besides, selfishly, I'd love to see more muscle milfs, plastic bimbos, bratty blondes, etc etc in your games and new work may bring that-- even if it doesn't, it's just another reason to get excited.

2025-05-06 08:37:42 +0000 UTCAgain, I recently finished CwG. It's fine, not grand, but fine. You could do a few tweaks to optimalize it - but the big win is in additional or new stories. Don't get caught up in the details of the old, continue and refine things as you go. That's better for everyone.
