Dev Log - Friday 10/10

I spent quite a bit of time this week on the wallpaper set, which means less time on in-game renders. But I did make some progress, and now that the wallpapers are done, I'm in hyper-focus mode.

I also spent a day and a half researching, talking to other devs and artists, and coming to terms with the fact that I was about to drop a shit load of money....but it happened. I'm getting a new system!
I went all out for this to set myself up for the future. Right now I'm rendering everything on an 8GB 3060ti, and it just isn't cutting it anymore. I'm upgrading to a 32GB 5090 which means I should actually be able to do renders with ALL of the girls in one single shot! The workflow will be a little challenging since the newest version of Daz that supports the 50xx series is still in a pre-release Alpha status, but I will work around it so that I can start making much more complex scenes (and much faster rendering times).

2025-10-10 21:43:36 +0000 UTCI have been able to do a couple with all of them, but it's always a stripped down environment and usually no clothing to keep the scene optimized so it actually renders. But I won't have those handcuffs anymore!
