In my opinion, while on the map, it would be better fitting, to put the cahracter with a dark frame or highlighted instead of the pictures, which you use. if the scenerey changes you can put another chararcter there or for more interactions the character at different places.

So many creators just keep building on 1 game, then never fully finish paths with girls and the game until it's abandoned with huge parts missing. Like most people are bored with summertime saga and yet they just keep going even though everyone's lost interest. Yet everyone would love another game from Summer saga. I feel like you did it perfectly and I'm really thankful you could see it through. I see lots of creators are starting to post games on steam. I know you said it would be hard to do, but you really deserve to be paid for your work, and what ever hurdles you must jump through I wish you would, just because I believe it would sell well and get you the cash you deserve. Obviously it doesn't matter either way if you do or not I've already played the game I just think you deserve thousands of dollars for your work and believe that's the fastest way too it.
