Added 2023-07-29 19:50:11 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Still cranking through all of the Sunday scenes. Wanted to shoot out a quick note about some overall changes made to the existing demo and what you can expect.
1. The relationship system has completely changed. I have implemented an 'interest' system that lets you choose whether or not to see optional scenes. An optional scene is typically one that has no impact to the overall story line so you don't have to be with every girl all the time. You will still have required scenes with every character where there is important information for the main story. Also, it's totally possible to opt-in to every optional scene as well so you're not missing content on your playthrough.
2. Due to the changes above, you will need to restart the game completely when it releases. Old saves will not work and will result in an error. I figured this is a good time to make these kinds of big changes before you get 6 hours into it and have to restart from that point. Hopefully (fingers crossed!) this is the only time this will happen going forward.
3. While the next release will include the weekend scenes, a very big part of the main story line comes to the forefront on Monday, which will NOT be in the next release. But I'm really excited about the direction, and I'm looking forward to everyone checking it out.
More updates to come! I'm about 35% of the way complete with Sunday scenes, and once it's wrapped up, the releases will start flowing out based on you your current tier!
