Added 2021-01-05 15:00:06 +0000 UTCTail splitting for Vulpix may seem to be an indication of maturity or age, but it more accurately reflects personal emotional growth of the individual effected. It's uncommon but not impossible to see a very young Vulpix develop all 6 tails before adulthood, or an adult who only has 3 or 4 tails. Either way, a Vulpix must develop all 6 tails before being able to evolve into Ninetales.
A freshly split tail will sometimes ache for a short period after the split.
