Added 2025-04-23 04:06:17 +0000 UTCmost of this beat comes from when i was demoing stuff for the newer material on UNKILLABLE ANGEL when i was staying with friends after leaving toronto in summer 2024. i came back to it early this year and did some of the vocals but it wasn't really clicking until today when i fleshed it out a little more - i love big weird crazy kpop brass and i rly wanna do more of that for whatever next album i make. i love unkillable angel but im a bit self-conscious abt how much it relies on guitars for heaviness, i think there's so many weird cool ways u can be heavy and brass to me is soooooooooooo heavy. it has presence and weight like no other sounds do imo, while still being really transparent and airy and graceful. lowww brass is such an elegant and crushing sound
the lyrics here are kinda basic but the rhythm of the words fit the swing of the beat so i just kinda went with it and kept them a little raw and goofy. not sure if this'll go on a future release or not - i really like it but i think it needs maybeeee one more part so i might come back to it and elaborate on it later.
