Upon gathering the bucket awkwardly in her mouth, she spins to see a Koffing and Zubat standing in the way of the path. Zubat lands swiftly on the ground and goads, “Heeey, sweetheart. What are you doing here?”
Unamused, Rune blinks at them and gestures to the water she just drew. Zubat shakes his head and snidely smiles. “Naw, naw honey, we’re askin’ what you doin’ here. Treasure Town ain’t no place for you uptight Northerners.” Her eyes narrow as she goes out of her way to walk around them, but they follow her relentlessly.
Zubat flies in front of her, almost spilling her water. “What’s wrong, babe? Cat got your tongue?” With one last eye roll from her, they stop pursuing the Vulpix as she strolls away. Zubat scoffs, blushing furiously as Koffing chuckles to himself.
