News about 55 update are here!
Colorize! The upcoming update brings early-game beds, endgame shulker boxes and other tintable stuff.
Beds are finally here, including are variants. We tried to make them look 3D as much as possible without changing the model itself and this is the result. Also We tried a new technique of texturing that will be suitable for mobs/animals :slight_smile:
The next portion of the update are banners. Due to how making patterns (tinting them) in Minecraft is implemented, using a tint will remove the 3D effect on that part of the flag, hower the 3D look is kinda baked into the texture, so the difference won't be significant. This is because for full 3D effect we would need 3 textures, but as banners are four times larger than normal blocks, that would make the pack significantly larger.
The last block portion of the update are shulkers and shulker boxes. The mob inside still has vanilla texture as I was not sure what visual direction to go with, so it will be retextured in some of the future updates.
And that's it. The update will drop 3rd as it's usual. Thank you for your support, feedback and everything that helps with the pack development :heart:
