Summer 2025 Content Dump

If you've been part of the Discord, you would have gotten this dump like 2-3 days ago, but I've been super sore from cleaning for family company than I haven't gotten the site update out. BUT HERE IT GO. This is gonna be a super wordy one cuz there is SO much to go over lmao For starters, sorry for the delay on this one. The ANYC stuff really threw a wrench into an already fucky posting schedule. I needed a month+ to create essentially an entirely new catalog of merchandise for con. A lot of that boils down to cutesy artworks that don't really translate to artwork fit for a content dump and a loooooott of comic and poster tweaks that I can't exactly show here without putting a before/after post to explain the differences. So this is gonna be a pretty huge content dump but not nearly as big as it could be!! I didn't have an idea for a Set this time around but I managed to throw together something last min. Overall, I think this batch is a solid one. I tried to make varied content to hit just about all my little niches, so please look forward! Here goes those bullet points-
ANYC 2025- I should probably get the big boi out the way. Anime NYC 2025 was a super success!! I was able to get all my merchandise made/mailed in on time, and I ended up making a sizeable profit! I could have tripled my earnings if I could invest in more stock but I'm not gonna think about what could have been lol There were a ton of crazy hiccups, like me drawing full posters or charm/keychain designs and having to scrap them last minute, products that came defective that I had to reorder, and even iffiness on if the table would be secured to begin with. But even thru all that, it was a really good con. Met a lot of amazing artists and saw a lot of really cool people again. It meant a lot to see so much love for my art after like 2 years of really bad financials and a fading social media presence. I sold out of a bunch of stock only 2 days into things!! It was crazy!!! The experience has healed my heart and my wallet. I can only thank you guys for keeping me afloat to even have the means to get there.
ART DEBT- I took on so much work to pay for the merch needed for ANYC lol Loooot of lil comms n shit even after I finally got out comm hell. On top of that, a lot of people redeemed Birthday Tokens! Like....2-3 years worth of tokens! lmao Craziest timing. So it's safe to say my work load has been overwhelming. Soon as I got back from the convention, I was balls deep streaming and I'm still not out the pit!! I still have a few tokens to bang out and like 2ish comms I still need to finish. That will be the job for October. If you're finally eligible for a Birthday Token redeem, by all means, hit me up. I'll add you to my list posthaste.
Going Forward- There's a lot of larger thing I need to start putting into motion. ANYC has given me a handful of new business opportunities that I want to take advantage of. Some are collaborative works, a lot deal with merchandise as a whole. I just need to figure out having consistent passive income sources going forward. I can't say too much about some of them at this time, but there will definitely be more info by November. Comics are a big part of my identity as an artist, and I need to get back to doing those consistently. I have 1 more comic I want to get done before the end of 2025, so expect a bunch of illustrations for October, and a smaller dump in November to make way for a comic drop in December. Speaking of October, I really wanna lean into the spooks this year since I didn't get a lot done last year. Lots of ideas for Murasaki, Aoi and Claudette, so please keep an eye out.
Costume Contest 2025!- We'll be at it again!! Our yearly costume shindig will be back in the Discord. I'll make an official announcement in #Art-feedback-general of Lighthouse on the 5th.
This dump will be covering the months of June-August artworks. The next dump is already planned for October 30th and will cover the September-October draws. Nov and Dec will also have end of month drops to make way for a clean start in Jan 2026. As always, thanks for the patience and continued support!!
