I’m really late catching up to this pod, but I wanted to let you know that I’m *really* really appreciative of the chapter markers. Very few podcasts do it and as someone else mentioned, sometimes you’re sold on a game and don’t want to hear more or, they’ve made it a little further than you and you need a safe place to cut the section short without skipping the beginning of the next topic. I also rarely listen to an entire episode in one go and switch the device I’m listening on and having the layout of topics helps me figure out if I’m listening to the same stuff twice. Super appreciate y’all! I’ll gladly chip in for a chapter marker tier :)

The last time I felt slightly young was 41. And I’m going to be 48 in a few months.

As for podcast editing, I don't know if this would be useful at all but some pods have people who help do a quick, rough edit and mixing and then the main editor finalizes it and makes adjustments. I know that even that process is probably not what Alex would be willing to hand off for the Watchcast, but maybe it would be something that could work with certain batch records where your files get uploaded somewhere and a helper does some prep. Your process may be streamlined to the point where maybe there's not a clear benefit, but it's something to think about.

Had to come here and say that I really, really appreciate the chapters on the podcasts even though they're a ton of work. They're phenomenal for skipping spoilers or deciding that I'm sold on a game and don't want to hear anything else about it. I also use them as "previews" for the episodes, both the main and the Ramblecast. They're perfect both for deciding how quickly I want to listen (sometimes a garage construction update pushes it to the top of my playlist!) and of course they're amazing for trying to find an episode where something was discussed.
