To be clear, I am not trying to downplay what happened at residential schools. The exact opposite is my opinion. What happened were atrocities. I’m asking to what extent what Ron DeSantis is doing approaches the horror of other school programs that rose to the level of cultural genocide.

2023-07-24 22:17:46 +0000 UTCONLY ANSWER IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING SO AND PROBABLY READ BEFORE REPEATING THE QUESTION IN YOUR VIDEO: Ron Desantis has as I understand exclusively prevailed aryan history above revision and censorship while through policy systematically pushing for any other history of any marginalized group to be subject to revision, suppression, and censorship in public schools. I don’t know if he explicitly said this was to create a unified culture and language in the US, but that has been said by people like him frequently when doing similar things like trying to ban Spanish. 1) With that context my question is does that rise to the level of cultural genocide? 2) If not, compared to Canadian and US residential schools that are considered cultural genocide, what policy threshold would turn Florida public schools into a cultural genocide program?

Considering that this is usually associated with ADD or ADHD I am wondering if you have encountered this before? If yes then how did you deal with this? I am sorry if this question is too personal.
