January game plan

So, after thinking long and hard about it, I've finally decided which project I'll be focusing on this month!

Based on the survey we've had in December, and considering that I posted a new chapter from The Warlock & The Wizardess already, I've counted the 'Something new' option among my possible choices for the new story, alongside An Offer He Can't Refuse and Little Sister's Big Butt.

Well, to my own surprise, before I even fully committed to a decision, I started writing something new! So yeah, that pretty much made up my mind as far as the January project goes. I've yet to come up with a final title for this new series (in fact we may have to have a poll on that, possibly...) but it's something I've been thinking of writing for a while now.

It's a family story, with a brother/sister couple of twins, their mom, the mom's brother (the twins' uncle) and his daughter (the twins' cousin) as the main cast, plus a few more friends and neighbors added into the plot. Compared to my other story lines, the core difference here is the fact that I'm going for a 'modern fantasy' type of setting, meaning that there are some 'supernatural' elements woven into the plot and moving things along. It's a new thing I'm trying out, and I'm curious to see what comes out of it!
