At over 21k words, this chapter represents both a solid conclusion to the '2 episodes intro' to the world of It Doesn't Take A Genius and the first step in the progression of an overall narrative that, in future chapters, will keep expanding in terms of the main characters and their relationship, while also adding new characters at each step. But that's a story for another time...
