January game plan

Alright, it's a new year and there's a brand spanking new story line cooking, yay! Of course I'm talking about It Doesn't Take A Genius, which will be the main focus of this month. At the moment, I'm already 6k words into chapter 1, which is really good and it's a sign of just how eager I was to get this new series rolling.

As I always do, I'll write chapters 1 and 2 back-to-back, mainly because the very first chapter is all about setting the stage and the action in it is somewhat secondary (not totally absent, though!) so I usually prefer to get a bit deeper into the story with an early second chapter, just so that the whole landscape of plot + juicy stuff can be fully appreciated.

Having said that, we will have a poll this month nonetheless: not one about the next project but one about character names. Yes, even though we came up with two great names for the main characters (and another equally great name for a female support role) I still need your help with two more female names, for the mom and aunt in the story. So yeah, in the next couple of days I'll set up the poll and we'll see what we can come up with.
