Updates!
Added 2019-06-13 14:42:40 +0000 UTCOkay, so the writing of the new and final chapter of The Warlock & The Wizardess is going very smooth so far, and guess what? Yep, you got it, once again we're in for a massive chapter, of course!
Seriously, I'm over 16k words in at the moment, and I'm barely at the start of what would/could be Part 2 in the scope of the entire chapter. Which led me to do some thinking...
So, basically, I want to get the whole W&W series over and done with this chapter, meaning that I did expect this one to be a mammoth episode in the series, BUT given how neatly Part 1 would end and how massive it is already (14k words, just Part 1...) I'm considering the possibility of posting this one as two solid chapters instead of one hugely gigantic chapter split into two big fat parts.
In terms of writing, it makes no difference to me, because, regardless of the name(s) it will go by, this story will be written in full this month, as was the initial plan. In terms of posting, it won't really make that much of a difference if 'Chapter 11 Part 2' is called 'Chapter 12' instead, right? I mean, the story is still the same and it would take me the same amount of time to write it regardless of the name, but at least for once we'd have shortish chapters, each of them whole and not chopped into parts, which I don't much like myself, as practical and often needed as it is to do it...
So yeah, long story short, W&W is going good and by the end of the month it will be nicely concluded, so those who like it will have a long-awaited finale to our heroes' first adventure while those who don't much like it will finally see this series brought to an end, yay, everybody wins!
Of course, there's always the possibility that our heroes might go on another adventure in the future, maybe even one I've been bouncing around in my head for a long long time now, who knows, we'll see...
