Yeah, I'd like to explore Gabby's family history (starting with her aunt and mom!) as well! The problem is that, at the moment, it would be very difficult to take a tangent in that direction, what with all the family stuff going on with Ellie and her brothers and so on... To be honest, when I 'introduced' Gabby's mom and aunt I wasn't yet envisioning the current developments on Ellie's side of the family, and to mention these two women was a way to hint at the fact that there might be some interesting stuff going on in Gabby's family too. Actually, it would make sense to develop this thread as a spin-off focused on Gabby's POV and her family history! But of course, I barely have the time to stay focused on the main story, so... Maybe some day...

I was a bit uncertain at first as far as how to handle the new 'siblings + Gabby' dynamic, but I think this was probably the best way to go both in terms of introducing the theme and leaving it somewhat open for many potential developments in future episodes. And yes, I'm more than ready for the next chapter in this series too!
