A much needed tweak

So, as of today I've switched to the Charge Upfront option, which means that new patrons will be charged for the first time when they subscribe rather than later on at the start of the following month.

This change affects new patrons only, and the one possible impact on current patrons may be that, in case they decide to switch to a higher tier, they will be charged when they switch rather than the next month.

The reason behind this decision is obvious: ever since I started this page, there have been people who pledge at a random point of the month (after the payment cycle, of course...) and then delete their pledge before they can be charged at the start of the following month. This basically means that those people are getting patron only content for free, and that kind of behavior is unfair both to me and to all the nice patrons who actually honor their pledges, and to whom my gratitude and appreciation always go.

So, since Patreon has recently offered me the possibility to switch to the charge upfront method, I decided to go for it. This way the ever increasing library of patron only stories I create will be offered to, well, just to actual patrons, as intended!

That's it, I just wanted to clarify that this change is now active on my page. Again, current patrons won't be affected, the only difference now is for the new patrons, who will be charged immediately upon subscribing regardless of the time of the month they do so.
