Updates!

Things are going very well with Loopholes Ch. 3, meaning that I'm chugging along at a higher word-per-day count than I expected. Right now I've got about 10k words in the bag, which is great, with the relative downside that I'm more or less at 60% of what I planned the chapter to include when it's all done. At this point, I think it's safe to say that this one will be another big fat episode in the series, with quite a bit of action, but the most interesting stuff is towards the end, so I still have to actually put it down on the page.
Now, in terms of posting schedule... Based on the way the chapter is taking shape, it will have to be split into two parts for sure, and Part 1 is basically already done at the moment. And here's the dilemma, kinda: I guess I could pause the writing and switch to editing Part 1 immediately, in which case I'll be able to start posting Previews as early as next week around Tuesday or Wednesday, BUT, since the writing is flowing so well, I don't really wanna stop it now to go back and fuss over what is already there. To me, crucial as it surely is, editing remains a chore, a tedious and extremely unrewarding chore compared to actual writing, because the editing process always takes so long and yields so little in terms of actual new stuff popping up on the page, which is the fun part of the whole thing at the end of the day.
Basically, I worry that if I stop writing now and focus on editing instead, when I go back to finish the chapter later I may find that I have lost the writing momentum I've got going now, which would be a pity and will result most likely in a story of lesser quality than it could have been. Long story short: unless this post gets a riot of comments demanding that I shift to editing Part 1 right away so that it can be posted asap, I will just keep plowing along with the writing until this chapter is all done, and then we'll see about revising and polishing, etc.
And that's it for me! As always, feel free to offer feedback if you want to, it's definitely appreciated.

Definitely finish writing before editing. Don’t wanna lose that muse, it can be hard to find again. Plus that mean we won’t have to wait as long between updates.
