For the past couple of years I've divided my working time each month between game dev work and patreon work, sometimes 30% game dev, sometimes 60%, in an attempt to make more significant progress on my project. I usually do 70-90 hour work weeks, so it's a lot of time being spent.
I'm actually really pleased with where my project currently is, but unfortunately taking time away from patreon work has had a huge negative impact on my income over time. It's gotten to the point where the financial uncertainty/instability is causing a lot of stress and just doing a whole lot of harm to me.
So, moving forward, patreon/subscribestar work is getting all of my attention for a while, at least until I'm no longer so anxious about getting all of my bills and rent paid each month.
That means a lot more art, + more things getting colored, which I'm sure a lot of you will be happy to hear.
I also added a new $20-tier, philanthropist++, which will get all the same rewards as the $10-tier, but is for anyone who is able to and wants to give more each month. (Obviously you don't have to, but the option is there for anyone who would like to). As a thanks to the long-term supporters, I'll be making more colored bonus reward packs, and coming up with other bonuses for folks who keep their pledges set to renew.
I'm looking forward to when I get to show you all what I've been working on in the game dev mines, but until that time comes, I hope you guys enjoy the art. Thank you for the support β€οΈ

I hate the thought of you being in financial uncertainty, so I hope this shift helps with that AND doesn't lead to/contribute to any burn-out. π« π₯Ί π©΅ Those are long-ass weeks, man. Great idea to add the tier; I'm in! (Well, in a couple minutes.) π€© I'm on an annual sub here; I presume it'll do something when I up (pro-rate? send you a bonus? LOL, who knows). Grins and hugs and all the support and love for you and your work! π₯° Er, platonic, fan/subscriber, boundary-respecting all-o'-that, of course. (blush)
