2025-09-07 21:32:42 +0000 UTCTo be fair the dinner thing can be traumatising and is something which I look back on a lot from my childhood. It depends on far you go with it though. Michelle seems to take some consideration in what the children like to eat, so they really should be eating a roast dinner for instance. I was being forced to eat things such as mushroom risotto at like 8-9 years old which is just ridiculous. A lot of the time I’d just want to firm the beating and get on with my day - the choice of food was that absurd. But that lead to me not being able to form sentences properly and growing up severely underweight throughout my childhood and adolescence. It’s something to consider. I wouldn’t cater to the child’s exact taste otherwise it would just be nuggets and smiley faces every day but on other hand, eating is such an important part of a child’s growth you’ve got to make sure the meals are at least kid friendly. Like a bolognese for example. If the meals are of that sort of nature then teaching them to not waste food is the right approach
