Yeah all fair points you’ve made. I always think - age and inactivity - number 1 disruptor when it comes to betting on these type of fights - prime example Haye vs Bellew Now we all KNOW that David Haye is a far superior athlete/fighter/1 bang artist - basically he has every single attribute superior to the bellend. But when that fight was made I said to all my mates - get your money on the bellend - he’s been actively fighting at world level these past 3 years whereas Haye has been sitting on the beach, no way is an athlete like Haye who relies on fast explosive movement gonna beat inactivity - doesn’t have to beat the bellend as such, just has to beat inactivity which he won’t, and so it proved conclusively. I see all your points and they’re valid but I put Donaire in a similar category to Haye at this stage in their careers - the only difference is the calibre of opponent - the bellend vs a peak Inoue - I always thought Inoue was gonna be way too much for Nonito at this stage - shocking matchmaking from those around him tbh, feeding him to Inoue.
