Is Benn really leagues above Ohara Turkey? We genuinely don’t know because he ain’t been in with anyone. I point you to your recent assessment of your maannsss Khamzat - way too gassed - look what happened when he came up against a guy who wasn’t even suppose to be a test - you saw holes in his game - it’ll be the same with Benn No Doubt. I agree though - Good fight JT vs Son of Nigel, way better than all the bum derbies we usually get Yeah I’m Scottish but don’t think I’m sitting here delusional giving it jocks wahey tartan kilts and whisky - I always knew Ricky Burns was an average world level fighter who probably overachieved and I seriously doubted JT was gonna be good enough in the pros when I saw him as a young amateur at the commonwealths. I also thought OHara Turkeys would smoke his pack when I went to that fight and I felt Postol and Vazquez were too soon for JT as well- I’ve been wrong about him every time, always exceeded my expectations. Let’s be real here - JT has only had one bad night in his pro career and as you well know Myles - we don’t have to look too far to see a likely cause - Bum Davidson. The warning signs were there in the Ramirez undisputed fight - all that fannying about on the back foot in the last 4 rounds - pure Bum Davidson tactics, no good, put the guy away you’ve already had him down twice - embarrassing. Would never have happened under Shane. What I will say about Benn is that he’s improved massively, he’s on an upwards trajectory. All that practice he’s had at home working Victoria has sharpened his tools no doubt.
