I’ve known a few problem gamblers and they all think like you - this is easy money and I’m losing out if I don’t bet and pick up this 30% uplift. No good. The bookies always win. Physically go into a bookmakers betting shop and take a look around. Look at the counter where bets are placed - it’s about 30ft wide - then take a look at the tiny payout window - about 2ft wide - this tells you everything you need to know as to where money is distributed. Long term you will always lose - fact. Save yourself the heartache.

2022-02-27 12:39:10 +0000 UTCWatched the fight back chaps and given the reaction last night I was fully expecting a daylight robbery, I saw nothing of the sort. It was the old classic - you’ve got to clearly take the belts from the champion and imo catterall didn’t do enough. JT had a bad night for sure but he was the aggressor throughout - something I personally usually favour unless the aggressor is getting picked off mayweather style. I also thought it was quite a difficult fight to score - scrappy, messy clash of styles with 2 southpaws. Catterall definitely landed the cleaner shots throughout and did a good job of negating JT on the inside by tying him up but at no point did I think he had JT in trouble - even with the knockdown. I scored the first 7 rounds kinda even, 4-3 JT, 8 and 9 big rounds to catterall but the championship rounds Taylor clearly pushed on and his will got him through it. A messy tight win and an unconvincing display, likely caused by a combination of things - he underestimated Catterall 💯, he more than likely struggled to make the weight, he forced his work in front of all of us home crowd and he has a trainer who is fucking useless when it comes to anything offensive or aggressive. Also the referee was shocking, what was he doing deducting points for nothing, that muddied up the scorecards as well. Bottom line JT has to rematch Catterall - that’s only fair but I think he’d get it right in the rematch and possibly stop catterall - he’d definitely stop catterall if he dumps Davidson and goes back to McGuigan.
