2026-02-24 23:06:56 +0000 UTCFun fact: Miss Wednesday being Vivi undercover was not originally planned. She was just supposed to be an ordinary henchman for Baroque works. Oda had planned for the alabasta plot and needed a princess for it and hadn't designed her yet. Then when he drew Miss Wednesday with her hair down he though she looked like a princess and suddenly made her into the princess he needed on a whim instead of designing a new character.

2026-02-23 19:56:00 +0000 UTCI liked the fight. I realize a lot interpreted it as Luffy not trusting Zoro enough despite Zoro proving his boundless loyalty on multiple grounds at this point. But to me, this interaction just complimented their mutual respect and affection for each other in a multifaceted aspect. Luffy, in his endless belief in people, acted in that faith and didn't think ill of those who have welcomed and fed them. Instead, he instinctively held Zoro, someone whom he already holds in high regard, accountable, possibly thinking that his most loyal friend should know better. Confrontations and misunderstandings in true friendships aren't wrong in the slightest. It would have been more out of character for Luffy to not hold his friend accountable for what he deemed was a disrespect to people who worked hard to welcome them (in his view) and are far less stronger than they are. In the same way, Zoro didn't get hurt from Luffy's accusations. He knew and respected Luffy enough that his violent response came with good intentions for people. He didn't run from the confrontation or hold any grudges, keeping faith in how simple-minded and generally well-intentioned Luffy is. The fight for them is just a way to resolve misunderstanding in their language as comrades and close friends, plus resolving egos in their friendship. In the simplest way, it was affirming.

I hated it the first time I watched it because it felt so out of character for Luffy; then I started liking it because I started seeing it as just a comedic excuse for Luffy and Zoro to have a sibling fight; and now I’m back to not caring for it again lol. Regardless, it is definitely one of the bigger character stretches Oda ever does for a couple cool scenes.

Especially after the stuff with Nami and how he refused to believe that she would betray them no matter what anybody said.

2026-02-21 05:13:16 +0000 UTCA fun fact: Karoo's voice actor is the same voice actor as Sanji, and I think thast so cute Also, Nami's voice actress changed for most of Little Garden because she took a break while she was pregnant and had her baby, so you might have heard her voice a little different, but she returns in a few episodes And Ms. All Sunday is one of my favorite characters; the villains are amazing in this saga
