Another debuting model, @Nat_Damsgaard_model
It was the first time I shot with Nat; it came about as she was visiting Copenhagen the day after and asked if anyone wanted to shoot.
I raised my arm, and while shooting, I persuaded her to hang out long enough for us to shoot in the sun in the old control tower near the runway. My Studio, as you may remember, is adjourning to an old airfield.
ƒ2.8 1/80-160 sec.
Nat is a promising model with some skill, and this shoot went smoothly, and there are also a lot of great images coming.
But a few days later, I tried setting up another weather-dependent shoot that involved an overnight stay, thus booking accommodation.
And another one a week later.
And here we hit the “communication gap” that sometimes exists between people with a busy schedule who schedule things and plan- and Gen Z…
Let’s just say I gave up because there were no replies or very late replies, replies mainly consisting of emojis (this is one reply for “Will Sunday work for you?: 🥺🤯), which I, in my (apparent) mental degenerate state, was unable to comprehend.
I'll give most people the benefit of the doubt. And I usually give people two chances, knowing that stuff can happen.
But there needs to be a very persuasive reason for giving a third.
Have you ever had a communication breakdown to the point where you say, “F*CK IT, life is too short for this” - but still wonder how bad some people are at communicating and how they get by in life?
