I had the good fortune of spending 3-4 days with Zsan Of Sweden, exploring the rockscapes of southern Sweden.
This set is from Hovs Haller, which has some magnificent rock formations.
All 24mm ƒ4.5-8 and 1/200-1/250
I usually change the shutter speed when light conditions change and only change the aperture if I have to.
There is a challenge with this way of altering exposure though: the shutter speed dial is nested at my index finger, so I just turn it when the amount of light increases or decreases.
The challenge is that I don’t look much at the number, so sometimes I accidentally dial down the speed to 1/15 - 1/30, which introduces camera shake and model movement.
I know I should look more, but I’m usually hyperfocused on composition and directing the model…
