Million Dollar Hotel

The headline is a pun on the old Jim Jarmusch movie of the same name; the hotel being a tripped-up place that used to be great many years ago.

It’s the attic of an old house one of my friends let me stay in while I was shooting with Lilith Etch in Hirtshals.

The lighting in this place was weird, so we adapted and got creative.

Adaptability and an open mind are essential in photography. You never know where the next great image will come from, but if you don’t push your boundaries and leave your comfort zone, you’ll keep shooting what you usually shoot.

These were all shot at 16-18mm focal length ƒ3.2-4,5 - 1/160-1/125sec.
