Kaiju no 8 manga has few of the coolest, cleanest looking art spreads. i was wondering how the anime will do it justice. and after watching this episode... yes, it gives me the same goosebumps.

2025-10-08 17:53:05 +0000 UTCI absolute love how invested the two of you get with the characters and their struggles. It was definitely hard to watch Platoon Leader Shinonome take that beating. Everytime it cut to a slow-mo of the kaiju winding up for a punch, I expected someone to come and save her. But she got pummeled a few times before finally Kafka shows up. The suspense was killing me lol But man, what a cruel way to end the season like that. Just when Kafka joins the fight and hopefully finds a way to turn things around. Ugh...season 3 when? It would have been a bit more acceptable if there was an immediate announcement for the next season but so far, nothing... I'm confident there will eventually be some announcement but not having anything yet is just slightly annoying lol
