Midday Challenges with Lena the Dancer

This is Lena Dancer, and the shots were made around 13.40, which is midday in Denmark over the summer. The high angle of the light could be better for the body, but integrating shadows as a part of the composition - and sometimes using extreme body angles - can take the attention away from this.
The main challenge here is to ensure that the shadow side holds enough detail to attract attention without being too light, which can cause the image to become flat.
