Added 2024-07-01 14:00:11 +0000 UTCAs you may know, I’m offering two unique autumn workshops in Lanzarote (a small volcanic Spanish Island) in September and October.
These workshops will feature The Endless Sinner, Wiana Model, and CB Modeling. However, I've only shot in the studio with CB until now that is.
To compensate for the lack of location images, I persuaded her to go to my favorite rocky hangout in Sweden for an afternoon/evening and a morning shoot.
These images are quick selections from that trip, so you see them first.

When I do longer location workshops (just like when I shoot models 1:1) we prioritize shooting when the light is excellent in the morning and evening and critiquing, theory, etc., in the middle of the day when the light is harsh.
And the cool thing about that season is the sun is up around eight and sets 7.30-8.00, so it’s pretty comfortable.
This is especially true at this time of year compared with Scandinavia, where the sun rises around 4:30 and sets around 10 pm - and frankly, the lack of sleep can be exhausting.
Oh, and by the way: it’s legal to be naked in public in Spain.
